JOIN THE PHATKIDS MENTORING PROGRAM

The P.H.A.T. Kids Mentoring Program is always excited to welcome new participants who are ready to grow, learn, and be encouraged through mentorship and leadership development. We are currently accepting applications for the 2026–2027 program year. Because we strive to provide quality mentorship and meaningful experiences for every student, space in the program is limited. Applications are reviewed and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

WHO CAN REFER A STUDENT?

Students may be referred to the program by individuals who recognize their potential and would benefit from mentorship and support.

 Referrals may come from:

  • Teachers
  • School principals
  • Guidance counselors
  • Social workers
  • Grandparents or family members
  • Community members or neighbors

PARENT OR GUARDIAN PARTICIPATION

Participation in the PHATKids Mentoring Program requires parent or legal guardian approval. Parents or guardians must support their child’s involvement and understand the commitment required for participation. We believe mentorship works best when students, families, and mentors work together to encourage growth and success.

 STUDENT COMMITMENT

Students who enroll in the program should be willing to:

  • Participate actively in mentoring activities
  • Show respect for mentors and peers
  • Engage in discussions and learning experiences
  • Work toward personal growth and goal setting

Our goal is to create a positive environment where youth feel supported, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.
