About PHATKids-Our Story

The PHATKids Mentoring Program was created to empower youth by providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities that help them grow into confident and responsible young adults. We do this through positive mentoring relationships and engaging activities. PHATKids focuses on protecting, healing, and teaching while helping youth develop strong character, healthy habits, and the life skills needed to succeed in school and in life.

Our program encourages youth to build self-esteem, make positive choices, think critically about real-life situations, and learn how to resolve conflicts peacefully.

We strive to create a supportive environment where young people feel encouraged to be themselves while preparing for their future.

WHO WE SERVE

The PHATKids Mentoring Program serves youth ages 5–18 from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, particularly those who may benefit from additional guidance, support, and positive role models. Our goal is to strengthen the community by preparing young people with the confidence, leadership skills, and character needed to succeed in the future.
